It might not be perfect, but it tries to capture a gentle yet powerful image of dawn rising over head. And while having a nicer camera might not magically make me a better photographer, if you were stuck with an old iPhone I'm sure not many would respect your photos either.
Again, what does that have to do with anything? You asked if *I* thought your photo was bad. I thought it was, and said so. You think the photo is good. I don't really care.
I think your opinion was overly critical and biased due to the situation.
